Brief:  To set the design strategy in 2009 for communicating current affairs on a month to month basis for the Diplomat brand.

Solution: To to redefine and redesign the Diplomat brand which included Diplomat, a 67 year old foreign affairs magazine published monthly, the Diplomat Yearbook and the Diplomat Education Guide published twice a year. Part of the rebrand included commissioning and briefing original art every month, artists commissioned include: Gerald Scarfe, French graffiti artist Space invader, Quentin Blake and Royal Academician, David Mach.

Contributed to raising circulation from 4000 to 18,000 in 4 years

In December 2012 as part of a massive brand development campaign, we curated an exhibition involving 26 Diplomat cover artists at the Chris Beetles Gallery in Mayfair.

Nominated, Designer of the Year (Business Media) for the 2011 and 2012 Professional Publishers association (PPA) Awards. Also nominated, Art Director of the Year (Business) for the 2011 British Society of Magazine Editors (BSME) Awards.
